Our CEO, Kim Oestergaard, has a background in the audio industry dating back to the early 2000s, and he is, privately, a passionate audiophile with a keen ear for musical instruments and vocals. This combination of professional experience and genuine passion helped spark our entry into the audio segment and the development of both SmartStack™ and TONEO, together with the invaluable contributions of his colleagues.
Kim has a strong conviction about the capabilities of our product line for the audio industry, built on years of empirical data from the automotive segment, where Meneta has positioned itself as a leading, first-mover supplier of damping materials for new cars. In this field, Meneta has grown its market share from around 10% to more than 45%. On this foundation, we are now expanding into new industries and segments – including, but not limited to, the audio industry. Kim recently put it this way:
